YOU ARE ONE STEP NEAR TO YOUR EARTHQUAKE RESISTANT MODERN NEW BUILDING ..!

There are approximately 21 million residences in Turkey. Among these houses, 14 million houses, excluding 7 million houses built after 2000, need to be examined in terms of disaster risk. It is estimated that about 40% of the building stock (7-8 million houses), including buildings with insufficient earthquake design, illegal structures with insufficient material strength and without engineering services, should be renewed or strengthened.

1- APPLICATION FOR EARTHQUAKE RISK REPORT

The most important thing needed for your building to be included in urban transformation is the earthquake risk report. For this, an application should be made to the institutions authorized by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization. You can check the ministry website to find the institutions authorized by the ministry in your city.

2- PREPARATION OF EARTHQUAKE RISK REPORT BY LICENSED INSTITUTION

This stage is made into a report as a result of the examination to be made in the building by the expert firm. If it is determined that the building is risky, damaged or has completed its economic life, it is included in the report. In order for the building to be included in urban transformation, it is important that it is not resistant to earthquakes.

3- SENDING THE REPORT TO THE MINISTRY

The presence of damaged, risky or economically expired statements in the report prepared by the Authority means that you are sitting in a structure that is not resistant to earthquakes. This report must be sent to the urban transformation directorate in your province within 7 days.

4- MINISTRY REVIEW AND APPROVAL

If there is no deficiency after the earthquake risk report is submitted to the relevant department of the ministry, you will be informed that it has been approved within 10 days. At this stage, the risk of the building is also recorded in the title deed. After this process, the building is included in the scope of urban transformation.

5- RECEIPT OF INFORMATION LETTER TO BUILDING RESIDENTS

After the approval of the Ministry, a letter stating that the building is risky is sent to the people living in the building. He has the right to object to this letter. If there is no objection, the building joint decision protocol must be signed within 60 days.

6- BUILDING COMMON DECISION PROTOCOL

It is the protocol in which the decision about the state of the building subjected to urban transformation by at least 2/3 of the property owners. The owners may decide to sell the land or to demolish the building and build a new one.

7- SUBMISSION OF THE DECISION PROTOCOL TO THE MINISTRY

The signed decision protocol must be submitted to the ministry within 2 months. Otherwise, the building will be demolished by the ministry.

8 - SELECTION OF CONTRACTOR

After the decision about the building is made, the contractor must be selected for the construction of the new building.

9- TAKING URBAN TRANSFORMATION CREDIT

After the contractor selection, the most important step is to get loans through contracted banks. For a house, 250,000 TL as the upper limit, has the right to use a loan.

10- APPLICATION FOR RENTAL AID

Necessary applications are made to the ministry for rent allowance, which is one of the important advantages of urban transformation.

11- BUILDING INSPECTION

The credits used for the construction of the new building are given to the building company in a blocked manner. At each stage, the banks control the building and make it available for other blocked amounts.

12- NEW DEED FOR BUILDING

Resettled deeds are received for the floor owners of the building, which is built to be earthquake resistant, stating that it is earthquake resistant.
